What's even better is making them yourself and not having to work with pizza dough. Pita pizzas are so quick and easy to make, plus they're a healthier choice than any local fast-food pizza chain. Give this recipe a try for lunch, dinner or even a late night snack - it's that easy!
What You Need:
-Greek Pitas (white or wholewheat)
-Garlic Salt (if desired)
-Mozzarella Cheese (grated)
-Toppings! (pepperoni, mushrooms, bacon bits, pineapple, peppers, olives, onions, sausage...)
(Preheat oven to 350)
1. Spread about 3tbsp of sauce as close to the edge of the pita "crust" as possible, then sprinkle with garlic salt as desired.
2. Add cheese
3. Prepare and add toppings
4. Cook pizzas on a baking sheet for 7-10 minutes. (7 minutes = softer crust, 10 = crispy).
*Steps 2 and 3 can be reversed depending on your personal preference
